Heneghan Architecture is a small architectural practice based in Holmfirth and Barnsley.

We work with homeowners, developers and local businesses to help turn ideas into clear, practical and well-considered building projects. Our work covers everything from early design advice and feasibility, through to planning applications, building regulations drawings and technical project support.

Meet the Team

Dan Heneghan, MCIAT

Dan is the founder and Director of Heneghan Architecture. He is a Chartered Architectural Technologist and continues to lead the overall direction of the practice, with a focus on practical design, planning strategy and technical delivery.

Sara Heneghan

Sara is a Director at Heneghan Architecture and helps lead the business side of the practice. Sara supports the team, keeps the practice organised and helps make sure clients receive a professional and consistent service.

Matthew Carter

Matthew is a Chartered Architectural Technologist and brings senior technical experience to the team. He works across planning, technical design and building regulations, helping to develop clear drawing packages and practical project information.

Ciara Duffin

Ciara is an Architectural Technician with a background in Interior Architecture and Design. She supports the preparation of drawings, project information and applications, bringing a careful and considered approach to the work.
